New iTunes Promotion

You don’t realize it yet, but in the next 2 minutes you’re gonna learn how to turn an indie Celtic musician into a rock star!

Wouldn’t it be amazing to see your favorite Celtic band release an album to #1 on the Billboard charts. Imagine all the world listening to Celtic music instead of annoying pop songs.

It’s not as crazy as you might think. Because iTunes loves their Playlists. In fact, they like them so much that top-rated Playlists actually push songs up the charts. It’s true!

Not surprisingly, when songs are at the top of the charts, this equals greater sales and more notice for the indie artists in the Playlist. Once a month, I will post a new iMix to promote the independent Celtic music artists on the Irish & Celtic music Podcast.

Rate the Playlist–This Week in Celtic Music

We back with another playlist of This Week in Celtic Music. Each playlist features songs from the latest Irish & Celtic Music Podcast and Pub Songs Podcast, plus songs from each of our Celtic compilation CDs. Plus, you can add your own Fan Favorites.

Fan Favorites are songs that YOU can pick and add directly to my playlist. Then head back here at the start of each month to rate the next Playlist.

You can help indie Celtic musicians!

1. Go to My Latest Playlist and look it over.
2. Listen to samples of some of the tracks.
3. Like the Playlist at the top of the page
4. Rate the Playlist at the bottom of the page.
5. If you see a track that you like, buy it to support indie Celtic music.

That’s all it takes.

    Not sure if this is the correct spot, but you mentioned you wanted input on new songs for iMixes.

    How about

    Miss Casey Medley, by the Cottars

    Great group with wonderful harmonies!!!! Maybe you could include them on a future podcast
